University FInal Year Projects
Over my final year of university, I worked on a multitude of projects from learning how to develop AI systems where I created a Rimworld inspired AI Pawn, to multiple VR projects.
For this project, I created the base for a Forklift Truck Simulator, for my client Vantec Europe Ltd.
For my targeting platforms unit, I decided to target the META platform, and created this shooter game to function on the Quest 2 standalone.

This unit, we explored different methods of creating deep and interesting AI systems, where I created Rimworld inspired AI
For my group-work unit, I was the lead developer where we successfully created a multiplayer VR training simulator, to be used for training probation officers.

48 hour developer challenge
Recently, I set myself a 48 hour developer challenge, where in my evening I would work on creating a game, but limiting myself to only having 2 days to do so. By the end of the 2 days, I created a fun yet challenging 2D platformer game, which I am really happy with the result. I didn't manage to add all the desired features however like a pause menu, due to running out of time, and it causing problems with other aspects of the game. Below is a video and a link to play it yourself!

UNITY TOOL DEVELOPMENT
I felt it would be a great idea to start looking into and developing tools to work inside of Unity which will to help artists and designers alike to build out and develop environments. I had this idea whilst working for Vantec, building VR and simulation projects.
Mini-Game for University Module
The Escape: This is a car escape game that I created for my Game play Programming and Design Games unit at the University of Portsmouth. The game is made in Unity and posted it onto itch.io. link: https://jakehrr.itch.io/the-escape
Unfortunately the version uploaded on itch.io was a broken version of the game, I am planning on updating this.
